This one-day intensive training is designed to equip dietitians and other HCPs with the knowledge and skills to optimize nutrition care for critically ill children. The course covers comprehensive nutrition assessment, including screening tools, intake and growth evaluation, and nutrition-focused physical exams. Participants will learn to estimate energy, protein, and fluid requirements for complex conditions such as heart failure and renal disease, and develop tailored enteral and parenteral nutrition regimens. With a strong emphasis on practical application, the training includes interactive case studies on malnutrition, refeeding syndrome, feeding complications, and monitoring nutrition interventions.
